Please join two BITSS Board Members to understand a bit more about coronavirus, learn practical tips for staying safe, and get your questions answered! Our presenters are Dr. Lynne Levitsky (right), our Medical Advisor. She is also the Emeritus Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Co-Director of the Turner Syndrome Clinic at MGH. Kristen Kowalski is a certified nurse practitioner, is BITSS' board secretary, and serves as the nurse on site during BITSS weeks.>
Join Sydney DaCosta and Tess Leone for some strategies to manage stress and anxiety. Sydney is a BITSS Board Member and co-directs the Summit week. Sydney earned a BA in Psychology from Emmanuel College, and a Masters in Social Work from Boston University. Since finishing school, she has been working as a Child and Family Worker at a Therapeutic After School Program. Tess is a BITSS Board Member and has been a Mentor at BITSS for many years. Tess received her Bachelor’s of Social Work in 2016 and will be completing her Masters in Social Work in May. She currently works in a day care center with kids ages 3 to 11.
Natalie Bonfig is the mother of a young adult with Turner syndrome. Natalie is a Turner syndrome advocate, writer, and speaker who has spent years volunteering or working on behalf of the Turner Syndrome Society of the United States (TSSUS). Natalie is a certified yoga instructor and practitioner of meditation. As an advocate for TS, she was a secondary co-author of the Clinical practice guidelines for the care of girls and women with Turner syndrome. She has been interviewed on Morning Coffee and Health and was a key part of a Mystery Diagnosis broadcast segment called "Falling Through the Cracks" about her daughter. Natalie also wrote a 16-page pamphlet after her daughter was diagnosed called, “Coley’s Story: Living with Turner Syndrome” that has been widely distributed to the global TS community. She writes and speaks about life after her daughter’s diagnosis, parenting, loss, grief, and life. Her publishing credits include The Medium, The Mighty, Thrive Global and The Light Hustler. Come learn about meditation and practice under her guidance.
Come join superstar Sam Harris and learn some vocal techniques from a pro.
Sam Harris’ diversified career has run the gamut from singer and songwriter to actor on Broadway, film and television to writer, director, producer and author. His now legendary appearances on the premiere season of STAR SEARCH gave him a national platform. Sam is a multi-platinum recording artist who has toured extensively in concert and has played to sold-out audiences at major venues including New York’s Carnegie Hall, Los Angeles’ Universal Amphitheatre, London’s West End.
On Broadway, Sam received a Tony, Outer Critic’s Circle and Drama Desk nominations for his work in Cy Coleman’s THE LIFE as well as a Drama League Award and Drama Desk nomination for his role in Tommy Tune’s GREASE and appeared on Broadway in Mel Brooks’, THE PRODUCERS. Sam has also starred in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, CABARET, JOSEPH…, HAIR, PIPPIN, THE JAZZ SINGER, THE FIRST WIVES CLUB and the smash hit, one man show SAM.
As “Perry Pearl” on the CBS sitcom, THE CLASS, Sam’s career took a new turn as a series regular. His many television credits include, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, CSI, MAJOR CRIMES and his own segment EXTRA called “Six Degrees of Sam.”

Join Ketty Rosenfeld for an energetic zumba class! Ketty is licensed to teach many types of zumba, and has been dancing and teaching at BITSS every summer. The girls absolutely love Ketty and get excited for her classes because they always feel like a party! Wear comfortable clothing and Zoom in from a room with some space for moving around. You won't want to miss this!
